Proposition “A” Campus Growth
Addition of 10 new facilities, 4 new parking lot, new roadways with site lighting and power provisions for the alternative energy equipment. Development of campus construction standards and construction of the new MDF Campus Voice/Data facility with generator backup and UPS, electrical engineering services for the new Student Services building.
Single-story building, approximately 15,000 square feet. The project design will feature new children and teen areas, study areas, a computer lab, and a multi-purpose area. Will include indoor kitchen, outdoor reading patio and landscaping. Will incorporate LEED Silver certified design.
30,000 square feet building on the the satellite campus for both Irvine Valley College and Saddleback College, serving the South Orange County Community College District.
360,000 SF state-of-the-art library on Campus, including the Sutro Library, the Archives and Research Center, Academic Technology and the Center for Teaching and Faculty Development, TV Editing studios, data processing rooms, campus telecommunication switching room, and 3 story high automated Library Research Services (LRS) system.
Research and Development facility located at the heart of UC Berkley Campus. The project design includes extension of 12kV campus power grid, 1.5mVA transformer substation, diesel standby generator, data processing facility, multiple offices and laboratory rooms, provisions for non-UV lighting. Engineered in strict compliance with LBNL design standards. This project was awarded LEED Gold Certification.
